No, I'm not crazy into boxing.  When I was trying to come up with just the right name for my business, someone told me that it should be something short, easy to remember, and mean something to me personally or to my family.  I thought of a few different ideas (sun, sand, camping) but they all seemed to be a bit run-of-the-mill.  

Then I thought of our dogs.  We currently have 2 dogs, Coola and Tyson, and both are boxers.  Before these 2, we had another boxer named Bella.  We love our pups and so boxerdesigns was named...   

My name is Jodi, I am married to a wonderful man (we just celebrated our 26th anniversary in 2023) and we have 2 children, a 20 year old girl and a 15 year old boy.  I have always had some sort of hobby or craft going on over the years - knitting, crocheting, beading, sewing.
 
A lot of years ago, when my son was fresh into his Minecraft phase (I'm sure quite a few of you parents have experienced this), I wanted to buy him a Minecraft blanket and there wasn't much out there at that point.  The couple of ones that I saw on Etsy were not high quality and I thought to myself "I could make that!" That started the sewing and quilting phase, and I haven't stopped since.

 I transitioned to bags and purses when a friend brought me a bag back from Hawaii. I liked it and wanted another one, and again I thought "I could make that!" One thing led to another and boxerdesigns was born.
